Well, at least in this case, I suppose the "on hold" status is better than just "canceled".

And I disagree with you. If there were 2 of you, there would be still employers interested in people with potential like you. Thus, none of the 2 would have time to complete this project anyway. Hehe... that would be tragically inevitable.

Nonetheless... I still have faith in this project. Even if I can't help much in the ways of programming, I'll be available if you ever need me.

See ya, then.

It fell into the water waiting for some kind fisherman to catch it in it's nets.

I do have a constant want to get the ball rolling again but my time is more divided than ever. That's life I guess. I certainly have a lot more experience in this kind of thing. At work we made a similarly large project. However it was built on top of a set of solid netcode.

I do have some experience getting the twistedmatrix python package together with a server. That's a good start.  Grin

It really is a matter of devoting time to the code though. I wish there were 2 of me Smiley

Hello, Peewee and Lithos! Long time no see!

Is this project really dead? It's been a long time since any news has arisen. Thus, apart from spams, nothing has drawn my attention here.

It would be a pity to lose such an interesting project.

Cheers!

It's time to start the next group mapping project. Anyone interested in contributing, post here.

We're going to stick strickly to Quark this time to avoid any incompatibilities between editors. (which was my fault last time lol)

I plan on starting some map and posting it here. If someone wants to continue working on it then post a message here and then start making changes. After you make a significant change, post the new version as an attachment and the next person will pick it up.

If you are currently working on the map then try to post often. At least once every 2 days letting us know so that nobody skips you over and starts working on their own version. If at all possible, it works best if you make all of your changes the same day. Sometimes this doesn't work out so it's ok if it takes a few days before posting.
